Our Story
DEKONING MINISTRIES was registered as an official 501(c)(3)organization in 2008. The aim of the organization is to reach people for Christ and build unity in His Body, the Church. Ken de Koning is the founder and president of De Koning Ministries as well as serving as the Senior Pastor at Waldron Road Baptist Church in Corpus Christi, Texas. De Koning Ministries grew out of Ken’s passion for Jesus Christ and his desire to bring help, hope and encouragement in Jesus’s name through generous, loving service and sharing of God’s Word.
The ministry currently supports ministries and individuals in Suriname, Ghana, the United States, and several remote tribes in Africa. They seek to reach people of all ages for Jesus Christ and give them direction and resources for victorious Christian living.
